Footwear retailer Office is to open its first out of town store at Glasgow Fort retail park in Scotland.
Office, which has more than 120 outlets in the UK comprising a mix of standalone stores and concessions, has until now only had a presence in town centres and not out of town retail developments.
At Glasgow Fort the retailer has agreed a lease of 2,800 sq ft for a 10 year term and the store is set to open in spring next year.
“The current tenant mix, easy access and customer demographics have all been contributing factors to our decision to open our first store in a shopping park at Glasgow Fort,” said Kristi Eames, commercial director at Office.
Office will be joined by men’s young fashion brand Jack & Jones which will also open its first out of town store at Glasgow Fort.
Other fashion retailers which already have stores at Glasgow Fort include Dorothy Perkins, Bank, Burton, Lipsy, Oasis and New Look.
Property agent CBRE advised Office.
