The Only Way is Essex star Lauren Goodger is to launch her own womenswear brand in conjunction with Fashion Capital, the organisation which supports up-and-coming designers.

Manufactured exclusively in the UK, the 30-piece collection will be designed by Goodger in collaboration with Fashion Capital using its London workshop and factory.

Pieces will include A-line dresses, wide palazzo pants, leather jackets and body-con dresses. The collection will launch in November for the spring 12 season. Prices are yet to be confirmed.

100% British made and seeing as it's made in Fashion Capitals own workshops, I don't think it's insulting. Have a read about what Fashion Capital does for young designers, pattern cutters etc. I think this is good p.r. for them!

  • Maybe Anon meant the 'designed by' tag? No-one disputes that FC do a good job for designer/makers but it will be interesting to see the design references Laurens range comes up with. Going to probably be a little bit of this, a little bit of that, snaffle a few references from other peoples work and Voila! A celebrity range is created. Doesn't matter that it may have very little depth and filches bits and bobs from everyone else but good for a short term cash boost. The TOWIE gilrs don't get paid for the show so they need to gather in as much cash is poss whilst things are hot for them.
