Spring 12

Faded graphics, ombré, dip dye and tie dye techniques gave flat colour a fresh lease of life. Boxfresh and Superdry opted for a laundered look with cotton T-shirts and sweaters featuring faded colouring, worn seams and ultra-soft fabrics to give a casual, comfortable feel. Streetwear brands veered away from bold slogans, with faded prints and ombré looks set to be a top trend, with brands from Barbour to Firetrap adopting the technique.
