After 16 fruitful years, Marc Jacobs decided to leave his post at the helm of Louis Vuitton in anticipation of an IPO of his own brand.
The decision is sure to set in motion the merry-go-round of rumours, with ex-Balenciaga designer Nicolas Ghesquière reportedly in pole position to succeed the American. Best of luck to whoever gets the job - following Jacobs won’t be easy.
