Paul Smith

Key looks
Striped Henley-style jackets and plenty of white and cream tailoring rounded off this typically commercial offering

According to the designer himself it all stemmed from a picture of Mick Jagger going to the Oval cricket ground in the 1960s

Nothing too outré here but Sir Paul used pleat fronted trousers and rolled ankles on suits while baggy casualwear recalled 1990s styles

Coarse linens and soft knits added textural appeal to the lightweight tailoring

The extremes of dark and light appeared on tailoring alongside chalky pastels. Primary blocks were used on casualwear
