Position last year: 53 (Victoria Beckham only)
The Beckham family continued their progress towards world domination in 2015. In June David appointed former Coach senior vice president Jason Weisenfeld to head up the launch of his debut clothing label, Seven Global - a joint venture between Beckham, business partner Simon Fuller and Global Brands Group which is a subsidiary of Hong Kong-based Li & Fung. Beckham also expanded his long-standing collaboration with H&M for spring 15, creating an edit of his favourite menswear pieces for the ”Modern Essentials selected by David Beckham” collection.
Not to be outdone by her husband, in August news circulated that Victoria Beckham was mulling the sale of a stake in her eponymous premium womenswear label to French fashion house LVMH, after meetings with LVMH chairman Pierre-Yves Roussel. Then in November she was appointed the first joint patron of Graduate Fashion Week with Burberry chief executive Christopher Bailey. Her collections have also continued to gain very positive responses on the New York catwalks.
And let’s not forget their talented offspring. In spring 15 16-year-old Brooklyn landed his first-ever fashion campaign with Polish brand Reserved, while his 13-year-old sibling Romeo continued his high profile collaboration with Burberry, staring in the Christmas campaign alongside Naomi Campbell and Elton John.
