Ben Barnett

CEO, TFG London

Ben Barnett has continued to grow his influence on the industry in 2019, becoming chairman of new sustainability-focused All Good Things. He has also continued to invest in the growth of TFG London’s portfolio of brands, which comprises Phase Eight, Hobbs, Whistles, Studio 8 and Damsel in a Dress.

In March he announced plans to add more than 100,000sq ft of UK retail space across the brands before March 2020. Four openings were scheduled for Phase Eight in November and December this year.

In December last year he appointed dedicated managing directors to its largest three brands: Hobbs, Whistles and Phase Eight. In January Whistles managing director Justin Hampshire moved to Hobbs in the same role, replacing Meg Lustman.

In August Hobbs opened a 2,000 sq ft store in Sheffield’s Meadowhall shopping centre.
