Louise Greenlees

President, TJX Europe

TK Maxx marked its 25th anniversary in the UK this year, after first opening in Bristol in 1994. Louise Greenlees has had another great year at the top of TK Maxx owner TJX Europe, as the off-price retailer’s UK expansion gathered pace.

Gross profit at TJX UK grew by almost 10% to £464m in the year to 2 February and the company’s operating profit rocketed by 49% to £103.8m. While many of its high street rivals are closing stores, TK Maxx opened eight new UK locations during the period – including its first store on London’s Oxford Street – bringing its UK total to 345.
