Sven Gaede

CEO, TM Lewin

After just over a year at the helm of TM Lewin, CEO Sven Gaede has mapped out a strong – albeit slightly controversial – new course for the brand.

Gaede joined TM Lewin as CEO in March 2018, after three years as New Look’s international managing director. He saw the role as an opportunity to bolster TM Lewin’s results – it reported operating profit of £73,000 for the year to 24 February 2018 on a turnover of £120m, up from £109m the year before – by transforming the household name in shirts into a broader menswear outfitter, with a focus on casualwear. This debuted at the opening of TM Lewin’s new concept store on Oxford Street in May, signalling a new era. Gaede is also expanding wholesale partnerships and taking a more strategic international approach.
