CEO, Yoox Net-a-Porter Group

Luxury ecommerce business Yoox Net-a-Porter Group (YNAP) announced a high-profile collaboration towards the end of this year. It will create a capsule women’s and men’s wear collection with the Prince of Wales’s charity, The Prince’s Foundation, next year.

Meanwhile, under CEO Federico Marchetti, YNAP has continued to develop its technology proposition. In November, it enhanced its personal styling tool with a feature that allows app users to develop a customisable avatar that can be used to try on styles digitally.

A strategic global partnership with China’s Alibaba Group, which YNAP signed in 2018, also started to bear fruit this year. It is seeking to become a significant player in the Chinese market and launched a flagship store on Alibaba’s Tmall Luxury Pavilion in September.

The etail store initially offers more than 130 luxury, designer brands sold by Net-a-Porter and Mr Porter, under one portal.
