Castore’s star rocketed this year, after it signed up tennis player Andy Murray to become the face of the brand and take an equity stake.
Since brothers Tom and Phil Beahon founded the premium sportswear brand in 2016, growth has been rapid and total sales for 2019 are forecast to rocket 103% to £14m.
Castore is already backed by high-profile names in the fashion world including New Look founder Tom Singh, and is now seeking a further £10m investment to accelerate growth.
In 2019, the brand expanded its wholesale business by launching on Matchesfashion and in Harrods, along with several international stores. This year also marked Castore’s debut foray into pop-up stores: the first opened on London’s King’s Road in October.
