Drapers Next Generation: The fashion industry shines with this year’s leading lights

What better way to kick off the New Year than with 30 new fashion faces. As ever with our annual Drapers Next Generation initiative, we anchor this supplement with the 30 under 30, a list of 30 individuals all under the age of 30 tipped to do great things.

In 2014’s line-up, our youngest is a 20-year-old entrepreneur who launched a streetwear brand that amassed 300 stockists since 2012. In fact, he is among eight entrepreneurs demonstrating the appetite and aptitude of young people to succeed in the fashion industry. Those in technology-led and digital roles continue to shine, but it’s also good to see individuals flourishing in traditional buying and design functions - after all, fashion is nothing without great product. This year marks the fifth anniversary of Drapers Next Generation and we hope to celebrate with many future stars at the Next Generation Academy on April 10, our annual networking day featuring presentations, on-stage interviews and panel discussions with fashion’s current leading lights. To be in with a chance of attending the Academy - it’s free to those in their first, second or third jobs across all disciplines in fashion - please email next.generation@emap.com telling us in no more than 100 words why you should be there.

Good luck and see you in April.
