Another business leader making his debut on the Top 100 list this year is Nickyl Raithatha, founder and chief executive of directional womenswear brand Finery London. Finery, which Raithatha launched in February 2015, has remained impressive throughout 2016. A strong product offer attracted the attention of retail giant John Lewis, and the growing label is now stocked in six of its stores.
Finery recorded £5m sales in its first year of trading and has attracted more than 3 million visitors to its site to date. No profit or loss figures were given, but Raithatha said it was beating expectations. A quick, reactive use of data has helped Raithatha, alongside co-founders Luca Marini and Caren Downie, to create a slick and innovative operation.
