Emma Wisden appears on the Top 100 for the first time after US retailer Urban Outfitters enjoyed its most successful season to date this summer.Global net sales reached $1bn (£787m) for the nine months to 31 October, up from $977m (£796m) year on year.

Wisden left Arcadia after 16 years to join Urban Outfitters in May 2015 with the aim of pushing an in-house collection.

Alongside its strong performance, Urban Outfitters is also at the forefront when it comes to using social media to engage with its consumers. Its strong presence on platforms such as Snapchat and Instagram have helped it to capture the spend of generation Z.
