It’s inspiring to be involved in the Next Generation

Success Appointments is delighted to be sponsoring Drapers Next Generation for the second year running.

Last year was such an inspirational event, attended by stars of the future and key industry speakers. This year it was even bigger, better and more diverse.
In these challenging times, Next Generation enables the fashion retail industry to back individuals they have tipped for the top, and we’ve seen some great examples of these entrepreneurs this year. Next Generation encourages the growth of the eclectic and diverse fashion industry that is so unique to the UK. Here we see the very best designers keen to forge links with the high street, and advances in technology and social networking mean bloggers can make new names in an instant, deliver them to a wider audience, and connect them with consumers.

The UK embraces fashion like no other country. This year there has been much talk of ecommerce, where we’ve seen talent, development and rapid growth. Seeing established businesses and long-term employees talking about their industry with the same wide-eyed wonder as the up-and-coming graduates is something that is a pleasure to be a part of.

The plethora of talent in the UK’s fashion industry is some of the best we’ve ever experienced, and those we’ve met today should give the industry a new level of confidence.
