Jo Jenkins

CEO, White Stuff

Now more than a year into her role as CEO at White Stuff, Jo Jenkins has steered the lifestyle retailer back to sales growth.

As its transformation programme continues to take effect, total sales grew 2.6% in the year to 27 April 2019, compared with a fall of 6.2% the previous year. As a result of greater investment, EBITDA dropped 32% to £4.1m during the period.

Jenkins has increased White Stuff’s spend on digital marketing, and expanded its digital footprint in the UK through Next’s third-party offer, Label.

White Stuff bolstered its leadership team, appointing former Boden global brand director Penny Herriman as customer director. However, to reposition as a multichannel brand, it placed some of its customer and wholesale roles into consultation in November.
