What she’s learnt: “Success is a combination of hard work, fun and a good dose of luck.”

Z Label’s team lead ecommerce Katrin Hofmann is described as ‘one of the top talents’ within the business. She joined ZLabels in 2015 from a background in project management and has since built the ecommerce department from scratch. This involved everything from managing the technical development of the platforms, creating the pricing strategy and building the customer care offer.

“She deserves to be on this list as she is constantly driving our business forward and never ceases to challenge herself,” explains ZLabels head of sales and marketing Benjamin Höhner. “She has an endless drive to push forward but, at the same time, is a great listener and a sensitive coach to her team.”

Hofmann has been demonstrating her talents since the very start of her career. She began her first job as a project manager at E.On Business Services while still studying at the University of Newcastle, Australia, and, within six months, was managing a demanding project spanning different European countries.

Career path:

2016 Senior manager/product manager own ecommerce, Z Labels

2015 Senior manager, strategic projects, Zalando

2015 Senior consultant, Corporate Value Associates

2013 Consultant, Corporate Value Associates
