A graduate from Arcadia Group’s management training scheme, Luke Horan gained the accolade of youngest Arcadia London area store manager at the age of 19.

Stints at Warehouse, Burton, Principles and Nicole Farhi followed, before he was part of the UK launch team for Banana Republic in 2008.

Horan then joined All Saints and became general manager of the Regent Street flagship.

He says: “What motivates me is my ability to develop and enhance the talent of others around me. I love working with people and having that bond with the team.”

His latest move was to US leather goods brand Coach, again as part of the UK launch team and taking up the role as manager of its flagship store in New Bond Street, London.

Horan says: “Arcadia set me up for success, and being involved in the launch of two US brands in the UK has been very rewarding. I’ve also experienced retail across the spectrum from volume retailing  to luxury retailing where the customer experience is key.”

Ricci Gowland, senior resourcer at recruitment company HGA Group, says: “Luke is a passionate retailer who uses logic and common sense to drive sales and build customer-focused teams. In a 12-year career, Luke has become well respected in the retail industry as someone who is destined for big things.”
