Made in Chelsea stars: Tina Stinnes and Alik Alfus The Quay to getting shady: Sips, shades and snacks were abundant at this week's launch of Quay Australia's collaboration with Missguided in London. The penthouse bar of the Ace Hotel in sunny Shoreditch was filled with influencers who sipped on Aperol spritzes, and Pimms and vodka cocktails with decorative flowers, and feasted on cinnamon-sugared miniature doughnuts. Guests enjoyed music from DJs Snoochie Shy (pictured), Siobhan Bell and Katerina Themis, as they ventured around the bar checking out new shades at every turn.

Good Goddard: Womenswear designer and Drapers 30 Under 30 alumnus Molly Goddard – known for her exuberant and voluminous dresses – picked up the prestigious British Fashion Council/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund award at an event in London’s May Fair Hotel this week. The £200,000 cash prize help to grow her business, which already has a devoted following among fashionistas. The glittering prize ceremony was attended by London’s top design talent, including Erdem Moralioglu, Sophia Webster, Matty Bovan, Hannah Weiland of Shrimps, Roksanda Illincic and milliner Stephen Jones. The British Fashion Council also announced it had raised more than £2.2m for its charities and initiatives to support fresh design talent over the past year. Breakfast Browzzin: Drapers was invited to the launch breakfast of the new social shopping app, Browzzin at Mortimer House in Fitzrovia. Nibbling at croissants and pain au chocolats, guests were invited to listen to the backstory of the new app and invited to ask questions. Co-founders Harry Markl and Zean Vo say that the app will disrupt the fashion industry and use AI to change the way we search, shop and share. The app was launched on 1 May.
Fetching the Middle East: Farfetch celebrated the launch of its Arabic language site in the Middle East this week with a party celebrating the event in Dubai. Guests were invited to enjoy a pop-up world of Farfetch in dome structures built on the Dubai Opera Promenade. Live sets from DJ Arrouhat and DJ Somalie entertained the guests throughout the evening while they enjoyed one of three sculptures commissions from French-Tunisian artist El Seed for the launch.

Boden launches second London store: Boden opened its second central London store this week at Westfield London in White City location. Founder Johnnie Boden cutting the ribbon on the women's and children's wear store with mismatched frames velvet chairs and quirky interior touches.
Ever ready: Plus-size brand Navabi took to the streets of the West End this week with a mobile billboard featuring three influencers to show that all women are "beach body ready", whatever their size. The body-positive campaign was launched three years ago, when Protein World's "Beach Body Ready" campaign hit the headlines for causing offence.
