AAK bolsters team with commercial boss

Men’s tailoring supplier AAK has taken on a commercial manager, charged with introducing new product categories and handling the business’s existing key accounts.

Neil Gooch will take up the newly created role later this spring from branded young fashion chain USC, where he was men’s casualwear and brands buyer.

London-based AAK supplies men’s tailoring and outerwear to some of the biggest high street names including Austin Reed, Marks & Spencer, Moss Bros and Next.

It is thought Gooch will be looking to introduce some casualwear lines to the business’s range, although AAK did not confirm this.

Chairman Maurice Kindler praised Gooch’s experience.

He added: “We’re very much looking forward to Neil joining us at the end of April - we’re a small team, so everyone pitches in and I know he’ll be a great addition to the team.”
