Averyl Oates to leave Harvey Nichols

Averyl Oates, buying director at Harvey Nichols, is to leave her role at the luxury department store at the end of the year.

It is not known what Oates plans to do next or who will take on the role after she leaves.

Oates, formerly womensawear merchandise director at Harrods, joined the retailer in 2005. She has also previously worked at French luxury fashion house Emanuel Ungaro as global retail and merchandising director and as vice president of Donna Karan’s retail division.
