Belinda Earl

Chief executive, Jaeger and Aquascutum

Instrumental in Harold Tillman’s acquisition of Aquascutum in September, Belinda Earl now heads up the luxury British heritage label as chief executive, while retaining the same role at Jaeger. The rescue is expected to herald a return to glory for Aquascutum, which lost its way under Japanese owner Renown.

Jaeger celebrated its 125th anniversary this year with a collection of archive-inspired dresses called 125. So successful was the range that Earl unveiled another archive-pillaging collection in November as part of the retailer’s spring 10 ranges. This time, it will cater for both men and women.

Earl has also responded to some market criticism over Jaeger’s high pricing by introducing new, lower price points for spring 10.
