Trade show organiser ITE Moda has bought out Jacket Required, and plans to roll out versions of the menswear show internationally.
ITE Moda, which runs the range of Moda shows, fully acquired Jacket Required from founders and menswear agents Mark Batista and Craig Ford.
The duo will remain on board in their current roles, overseeing the show’s line up of menswear, footwear and accessories. They will also work alongside ITE Moda into new markets, although declined to say where.
Batista said: “As a fashion industry specialist ITE Moda understands the concept of the show and the market it serves, and has the organisational infrastructure to support Jacket Required’s future growth.”
ITE Moda managing director Colette Tebbutt said the curated nature of the show made it stand out.
“We’re looking forward to working on the show with Mark and Craig, whose long-standing knowledge of the sector will play a key role in the future development of Jacket Required,” she added.
The move follows ITE Moda’s acquisition of a share in the London-based premium womenswear show Scoop last summer, and kidswear show Bubble back in 2008.
Batista and Ford launched Jacket Required as an invitation-only show in August last year, and have since run three editions.
