Jane McNally

Chief executive, Alexon Group

It’s been a turbulent year for Jane McNally, who took the helm at Alexon in September 2008. The early part of this year was hampered by falling sales at Bay Trading, which went into administration in April, before being bought by Japanese supplier Rinku Group in May.

Since then McNally has continued her strategy to turn around the group’s other fascias, including Ann Harvey, Dash and Minuet, by improving the ranges’ fashion content. Sales falls have slowed but Alexon’s like-for-likes still fell 14% for the 16 weeks to November 21.
