Sir Paul Smith

Sir Paul Smith’s financial outlook seems perpetually sunny, whatever the state of the economic climate and only last month his eponymous label was named Walpole British Luxury Brand of the Year for 2009.

The brand posted soaring profits in April, rising almost 15% to £150m over the year. UK sales made up £55.7m of the total sales, while European sales were £44.2m and the rest of the world accounted for £49.8m. The man himself took a salary of £3.9m and cemented his place in the Sunday Times Rich List.
