The chief executive of the British Footwear Association, John Saunders, is stepping down from his role.

Oasis and Warehouse Group

Oasis and Warehouse Group is promoting chief operating officer Hash Ladha to the role of chief executive.

Ladha joined the business in 2010 as group multichannel director across Karen Millen, Oasis, Warehouse and Coast. In 2011 he was appointed deputy managing director of Oasis, and in 2013 was promoted to COO, with responsibility for retail, online, international, wholesale, customer experience, marketing and creative, property and store design.

In 2014, Ladha became COO of Warehouse in addition to Oasis, managing all consumer channels.

Fat Face

Liz Evans will join Fat Face as CEO next year.

Evans is stepping down from her role as CEO of both Oasis and Warehouse, whcih she has held since 2013. Prior to that she was managing director of Coast for five years until 2010.

Missguided and Nobody’s Child

John Allen, chief technology officer at Missguided, is leaving the business to join womenswear etailer Nobody’s Child as chief executive.

Allen joined Missguided in 2015 and was previously IT director at Ideal Shopping Direct, and head of IT at both Asos and MandM Direct.

Ganni has announced Andrea Baldo as its new CEO, as of 22 October.

Baldo was previously CEO of Italian leather goods brand Coccinelle, before which he was general manager at Diesel, leading the launch of both the Diesel Black Gold and Diesel Intimate Apparel divisions.

JD Sports

JD Sports has announced that chief financial officer, Brian Small, is retiring after 15 years at the business. 

Small has been with JD Sports since 2003 and will also step down from the board of the company on 31 October.

MCM has appointed Adidas’s Dirk Schönberger as its new global creative officer.

Schönberger joins the company in the newly created role after eight years as creative director at Adidas.
