Chief merchant, Harrods
Perfectly groomed Marigay McKee knows how to get what she wants.
In August, she lured Tom Ford to Harrods to open his first UK womenswear shop-in-shop, just one month before his exclusive on-schedule womenswear show at London Fashion Week. McKee also oversaw revamps for the women’s and men’s footwear departments. Profits soared 39% to £108.3m in the year to January 29, while sales broke the £1bn barrier. All of which earned McKee a promotion to chief merchant, from her previous group fashion and beauty director role.
