63 Belinda Earl (35)

Chief executive, Jaeger and Aquascutum

Belinda Earl kicked off the year by vowing to take on the likes of Reiss, All Saints and Whistles with the launch of Boutique by Jaeger, a younger, lower-priced womenswear collection.

Earl also opened a pop-up shop for Boutique by Jaeger in London’s Fouberts Place, with a view to rolling out the concept. She also launched Jaeger’s first Jaeger London standalone at St Martin’s Courtyard in London last month, which was quickly followed by another in London two weeks later, while a third was in the offing as Drapers went to press.

Things weren’t quite so rosy at Aquascutum though, with Earl yet to unveil a new, compelling direction for the heritage brand she helped rescue with Harold Tillman last year.
