83 Mark Fenwick (83)

Group chairman, Fenwick

Mark Fenwick has maintained his number 83 slot this year just as steadily as he has steered Fenwick through 2010. The department store business can be relied on for quality and great service and consumers flock to its stores to buy a piece of its good taste.

Despite a disappointing performance in 2009, when it reported a £2.5m drop in sales to £360m, and a £600,000 decline in pre-tax profits to £35m, Fenwick drove on through 2010, refurbishing the Bond Street store to glamorous affect.
