Throughout 2012 this dynamic duo have kept House of Fraser pushing on down the path it started on last year. As one of the more ambitious multichannel players, HoF has ploughed investment into its digital arm, which now makes up around 10% of overall sales and is expected to climb to 20%in the medium term - a figure many in the industry would like to replicate. Indeed, 2012 has seen its “stockless” retail concept picked up by others keen to emulate the pair’s success. But it hasn’t all been plain sailing, with womenswear currently undergoing a review following the high-profile departure of Stephanie Chen.
