Top 100: 41. Stewart Binnie

Chairman, Jaeger

Stewart Binnie only took up the reins in October, but has already made a splash with his ambitious plans for Jaeger’s development. Having been at the business for a few months as a consultant he has a good understanding of the challenges ahead and, with the financial backing of new owner Better Capital, has set about making changes, including updating the website, identifying new launch territories and even introducing third-party brands to the retailer’s London flagship store. These innovations come at a crucial time for the embattled premium retailer and the former Aurora Fashions president has embraced the need for change.
