Top 100: 52. Brian Brick

Chief executive, Moss Bros

Brian Brick has propelled menswear business Moss Bros back into the black this year, making a pre-tax profit of £900,000 for the year to January 28 compared with a loss of £8.9m the year before. Since then trading has continued to prosper, with the retailer reporting 5.7% growth in like-for-like sales in the first half of the year. To target further growth the retailer is planning a series of digital initiatives. Ecommerce accounts for just 1.7% of overall turnover although Brick aims to increase that to 10% over the next three to five years. He has also led a revamp of the Moss stores, with 90 shops receiving a makeover.

Most likely to… Be found cheering on The Gunners, as a diehard Arsenal fan.
