Brand director, George at Asda
With George at Asda sponsoring Graduate Fashion Week for the second time this year, and offering 60 graduate places to those eager to gain retail experience, brand director Fiona Lambert has been instrumental in ushering in the next generation of talent. Lambert is renowned for her ability to spot
a gap in the market for new product, but this year the supermarket brand has also been tackling multichannel head on, optimising George.com and Asda Direct for mobile. Lambert says she sees online accounting for 10% of future sales, while 50% of Asda’s click-and-collect orders are already for George product.
