Former chief executive, Shop Direct Group
In September Mark Newton-Jones handed the reins over to Alex Baldock at Shop Direct Group, staying on at the company in a solely advisory capacity to the new group chief executive and the board. His resignation brings to an end a seven-year tenure in the role, in which he saw the group’s annual sales grow to £1.7bn, with five million active customers to date.
