Top 100: 86. Nadia Moraes

Director and designer, Darling and Beloved

Even though Nadia Moraes’ womenswear brand Darling, which has more than 600 stockists worldwide, won Drapers’ Womenswear Brand of the Year for 2011, she certainly hasn’t been complacent these past 12 months. Beloved, her new partywear label, launched at Pure London and was the talk of the trade show. The launch of a Darling accessories range and the recent closure of her three indie stores Leila means Moraes has also been focusing on the growth of both Darling and Beloved. Speculation that Darling will open standalone stores continues, and what about menswear? Well, Moraes told Drapers in August: “Our beloved girl might get a boyfriend!”
