Owner, Hawes & Curtis and Ghost
Having rescued womenswear retailer Ghost from administration at the end of 2008, Touker Suleyman vowed to return the collection to its feminine roots.
September’s reintroduction of a wholesale range for spring 10 was the first for Ghost in three years and was well received by former stockists, who had missed the collection’s soft lines and flattering cuts.
Meanwhile, Suleyman continued his aggressive expansion of shirt retailer Hawes & Curtis with further openings including a Jermyn Street flagship in London, which was refurbished in November and is the chain’s largest store in Europe.
