Wrangler appoints new president

Denim band Wrangler has appointed Frans van Zeeland as president, replacing Dieter Jacobfeuerborn who has been promoted to president, emerging markets for brand owner VF Europe.

Van Zeeland was previously vice-president, consumer marketing for denim brand Lee in America. He is now based in the brand’s European headquarters in Bornem, Belgium and will be driving the brand’s rejuvenation.

The two assumed their new responsibilities on April 4.

Earlier this year parent company VF Corporation said it would increase revenues by $5bn (£3.1bn) over the next five years and focus on expansion in international markets.
