There has been steady progress within Touker Suleyman’s portfolio of fashion retailers and brands this year.
New life has been breathed into womenswear brand Ghost, where sales rose 33% on 2017, and online sales were up 43%. Its five stockists include Selfridges, which began selling Ghost last April. It has a flagship on London’s King’s Road, and plans to open two further stores in the capital in early 2019. Meanwhile, in August, menswear chain Hawes & Curtis opened a 2,070 sq ft store at Westfield London in White City.
Dragons’ Den star Suleyman bought a minority stake in womenswear etailer Finery in January last year, and has backed start-ups such as boat shoe brand Docks Rio. His supplier business, Low-Profile Fashion, works with retailers including Marks & Spencer.
