Reece Crisp

Assistant buyer contemporary menswear brands, Mr Porter, aged 24

Just three months into his new role at Net-a-Porter’s soon-to-launch luxury menswear site Mr Porter, Reece Crisp is among the coterie of bright young buyers and merchandisers taking the business forward.

Crisp joined Mr Porter from etail giant Asos, where he was also assistant buyer on premium brands, having started his full-time buying career as an allocator at House of Fraser.

But the fashion bug caught Crisp much earlier - he worked at indie White House in Harlow during his school days, and then at Fluke in Sutton.

“I loved my school work experience - it was an inspiration to me. I then went on to take a degree in fashion management at London College of Fashion,” he says.

“I ask for opportunities to get involved in different functions in the business. I always want to contribute outside of my remit.”

Crisp admits to being very ambitious. “I want to be a buying director at some point. I love buying and know that I will progress.”
