“Vienna excels at being proactive and showing vision,” says Wendy Hallett, managing director of fashion, accessories and jewellery concessions business Hallett Retail. “She has been successful at not only finding new brands, but making sure they launch successfully.”

Flaherty started her career as an administrator at beauty brand Barry M, but her love of clothing and jewellery drew her to Hallett Retail in 2015. Since then, she has brought on 15 new brands, four of which have already been expanded. Flaherty has also helped to launch a new self-service concept in selected House of Fraser stores, including its Oxford Street flagship.

She has quickly made her name for herself at Hallett Retail, thanks to her passion, perseverance and ability to go above and beyond, says Hallett: “One of the key reasons I think Vienna will progress to more senior roles is her ability to understand and influence the whole business, rather than just focusing on her own areas of responsibility or sticking to her job description.”
