Pop-graphics sparked a colourful look for T-shirts in Berlin, which included photomontages teamed with graphics, colour clash geometrics and more in-your-face cartoon graphics that draw on both 1960s Pop Art movements and spring 09’s high-street obsession with superhero and character T-shirts. Cheeky sloganeering and raunchy imagery fed into this trend with brands like Two Angle and Killah the more outré, rave-led exponents.
