The Look
Hard meets soft for Preen this season, with Spanish ruffles and lace giving way to bold futuristic cutaways

Key pieces
Preen designers Justin Thornton and Thea Bregazzi played with surface texture by splicing shafts of bright fabric with matching fishnetting on draped tulip dresses, swathing painterly monochrome chiffon prints over one shoulder and adding rolling folds of satin from under the bust

A largely muted palette of smoky grey, duck egg blue, black and white is injected with shots of tomato

Silk is either used in light ruffled tiers or given a sheeny coating, while net underlay is swathed in printed chiffon
