Pringle creative director resigns

Pringle of Scotland’s creative director Clare Waight Keller has resigned after five years at the brand.

Pringle chief operating officer Jean Fang said: “Under Clare’s creative direction, Pringle has achieved global recognition as an international luxury brand.

“Her unique understanding of knitwear and design talent has allowed her to modernise the image of Pringle of Scotland, while remaining true to its heritage. Clare will be greatly missed and we are extremely grateful for what she has achieved.”

Waight Keller said she was resigning with “equal measure of sadness, pride and anticipation”.

It is not known if Waight Keller, who is due to take maternity leave with her third child, has a new job to go to after her return to work.
