Brand to watch: 3000 Systems’ insouciant urban cool

With a mission to create a wardrobe of practical and industrial clothing, London menswear studio 3000 Systems creates clothing with an urban aesthetic and utilitarian designs.

Founded in 2016, the brand is now on its third collection, for autumn 17, which was shown as part of London Fashion Week Men’s in January.

Inspirations range from aviation and travel to industry, individuality and even Kurt Cobain, and the autumn 17 collection offers pared-back designs in muted neutral colours, and adds a touch of 1990s styling and a insouciant sense of rebellious cool. Forest green, khaki, camel and plum are key colours, with fabrics including British gabardine, dry wax cotton and linen.

Wholesale prices range from £36 for an military T-shirt to £398 for a two-tone vinyl trench coat.
