When you think of Poland, social networking-savvy, trend-led fashion isn’t necessarily the first thing that springs to mind. However, one brand to get on board with the speed and style of the internet is new Polish label Aloha From Deer, which turns imagined online styles into high-quality, real-life items.

Micro-blogging site Tumblr has been awash with images of teens wearing digitally manipulated jumpers ever since the site became a hipster fashion haven. And where social media goes, canny fashion brands soon follow.

The brand takes Tumblr-ready fantasy images, quirky prints and Instagram-filtered snaps and emblazons them over signature jumpers and T-shirts. Giant roaring tigers? Twinkling constellations and cloudscapes? Giant floral blooms?

An oversized Taj Mahal? Check, check, check and check.

“We’re inspired by everything we are surrounded by, especially art and photography,” says founder Mariusz Mac.

“And we observe the fashion world. Our collections are the effect of putting those two pieces together.”

After receiving interest from around the world, the brand has decided to open its wholesale books for the first time.

Buyers are able to place orders throughout the season, with new designs and categories added every month.

Fast-paced Tumblr trends are fickle though, so how is the brand going to keep up? “It will remain printed, but will also have lots of new basics,” says Mac. Expect the introduction of sunglasses, jewellery and even perfumes in the future while “new fabrics will be used along with embroidery details. As well as warm, quilted jackets with cloudy prints that will blow your mind.” Looks like the sky’s the limit for this bold, bloggy brand.
