Spring 11

The look Leopard print ran wild at the Blumarine show in a variety of sizes and shapes against pink and neutral backgrounds.

Key pieces A pink leopard print dress with long sleeves stood out, as did an entire look built around varied sizes of the print on kick-flare trousers, a bell-sleeved tunic top and an extra long scarf.

Commercial appeal This collection was highly commercial in that leopard is a perennial favourite. However, this collection lacked other elements and the fixation with leopard was overwhelming. A gaudy bright orange work suit with a jacket and a knee-length skirt also featured.

Footwear and accessories Cog-like motifs replicated flowers to decorate suede, thin-heeled sandals that came in brown and orange. Bags were fringed.
