The look Revised tailoring.
Silhouette A surprisingly understated silhouette based around classic sb or db tailoring, updated with novelty prints or layered with full dirndl skirts.
Key pieces Suits and tailored blazers were tightly edited with white T-shirts, wide-fit shorts, high-cut, cropped pants or printed leggings and tunic shirts. Jackets came with a cutaway front or were deconstructed into a skeleton of cutaway bands to expose the garment beneath.
Colours Black, white, navy, baby blue and deep red.
Fabrics Cotton-nylon blends, cotton poplins and leather.
Prints The skull motif was worked to the max as an all-over print, a cartoon graphic or combined with scrolling baroque floral and graphic chequerboard.
Details Cut-out details and skeletal deconstruction.
Footwear Simple slip-ons or chunky lace-ups.
