D&G

Letters of the alphabet were littered all over clothing on the D&G catwalk.

The look Letters of the alphabet were littered all over clothing on the D&G catwalk as bright, bold and brash House of Holland-esque slogans sashayed down the catwalk in clashing orange, yellows and pinks.

Key pieces Highlights included a sleeveless body-con dress that stopped just below the knee and sheer maxi dresses printed with letters of the alphabet prints. Brightly coloured feathered skirts were styled with T-shirts for the finale, and all were worn with wedge trainers for a street-sport vibe.

Commercial appeal The range was reminiscent of House of Holland’s autumn 07 show in which bold logos and lettering were emblazoned across T-shirts in a fluoro palette, meaning parts of this collection felt a little tired.

The sheer pussybow blouses and monogrammed trousers had more relevance for autumn 11.
