Christopher Kane

Spring 12

The look A collection full of light and luxe modernity featuring origami-style slashes, architectural folding and a bloom of florals with a 1960s feel.

Key pieces 1960s shifts and jackets lifted with modern origami folds and sheer-filled peek-a-boo cuts at the elbows and hips. A-line skirts, dresses and jackets came in shimmering brocade florals, or featured flowers trimmed with glittery sequins.

Colours Icy greys and chilly pastels including white, mint and soft yellow, with a shot of turquoise blue.

Commercial appeal Kane’s spring 12 collection showed one way to work the season’s 1960s and floral trends but in a subtle and modern way. His floral appliqué pieces are sure to be the season’s key items among the designer’s fashionably dressed following.
