Cotton USA sponsors Louise Gray at LFW

Scottish designer Louise Gray has won sponsorship from Cotton USA for a second season at London Fashion Week.

Cotton USA previously sponsored Gray’s spring 11 collection at LFW but will now sponsor her autumn 11 show at LFW, which runs from February 18 to 22. This will be Gray’s fifth consecutive season at LFW and her collection will have an emphasis on texture including beadwork, stitch work and patchwork.

Her autumn 11 collection this season is inspired by Athar Khan photography, American artist Jean Michel Basquiat and singer and actress Cindy Lauper.

Gray said: “Fabrics made with US cotton are some of my favourite. It’s incredibly versatile and a great raw material to work with.”

Cotton USA has previously sponsored designers Richard Nicholl, Meadham Kirchhoff, Nathan Jenden, Sinha-Stanic, PPQ, Preen, Gardem Paris and Deryck Walker.

Gray’s autumn show will take place at 2.15pm on Saturday February 19 at ON/OFF Mercer Studios.
